Video Transcript

"Hi, I'm Noah, and I'm going to show you how to remove adware. Adware is a type of malicious software, which is often installed unwantingly or unknowingly by the user, which creates a very frustrating environment to work on with your computer because of unrelentless advertisement. Some anti-virus programs will also take care of spyware and adware as well. This is usually very easy to find out, either on the box or on the website. However, these anti-virus programs that also deal with spyware aren't always the best way to get rid of the spyware and adware -- don't always do the best job. You might want to try getting a specialized program and removing adware and spyware, such as Spybot Search & Destroy, which you can find at www.safe-networking.org, or Ad-Aware by Lavasoft, which you can find at www.lavasoft.com. These are both completely free programs, which you can download and install and then run a scan with, which should detect all the spyware and adware on your computer and remove it."
