"I get asked all the time, "how do I make the best audio recording on my computer?" Well I always give the same answer. If you want the best audio recording that you can get on your computer, you need to have the best microphone to capture the audio that you're putting into your computer. Very important. So what I like to use are Sennheiser Microphones. All of the equipment that I have I've used Sennheiser. The Lavalier mic that I'm using is Sennheiser. This is a wireless microphone, Sennheiser, and of course you have your wired microphone which is what I would use to go into the computer wire directly is also Sennheiser. So the quality that you bring into your computer is going to be dependent on the actual quality of your hardware that you're bringing it into your computer with. So number one, get yourself some great microphones. Don't try to cut corners with your microphones bringing your audio into your computer because you get what you pay for. Secondly, you're going to make sure that you want to have, you have an editing system that you can run to route your audio and you have different settings that you can define how many bits and what type of audio rendering that you bring out. So number one, have yourself some great audio hardware, and number two, learn how to use your editing system so you can get the best output."
