Hi this is Yolanda Vanveen and in this segment I want to talk about what does a blue rose symbolize? Now roses come in many different colors and there is no true blue roses. In fact the only blue roses are actually more of a mauve purply color but they call them a blue and many times you'll just take a white rose and spray paint it blue or put some blue dye into the water and it soaks it up and it will turn it blue but the blue rose is one of those roses that is just a wonderful symbolic gift and basically because the blue rose is really unnatural or unattainable if you have someone that you really want to reach or someone that you think is really your goal or are really unattainable a blue rose represents someone that is very unique, one of a kind, someone that is just outrageous or someone that is unattainable. Someone that you strive to be like or if you are in love with someone and you finally want to show them how you feel about them if you give them a blue rose it means that I know you are unattainable but I still want a shot at it and dreams can come true and that even though a blue rose is not a possibility in nature it still is a possibility in the future because they are putting different types of blue genes from other flowers and mixing it genetically with the rose and sooner or later we will come up with a blue rose and so giving someone a blue rose is a symbol of hope too knowing that even though it is a challenge. There is true persistence. You will succeed and then by giving someone that symbol of a blue rose you are showing them that you are not giving up and that you really appreciate that they are one of a kind.
