How to Promote Your Music on MySpace

"Hi my name is Dexter and we are going to be talking about how to promote your own music on MySpace. First all you need to sign up for musician's profile. When you sign up for musician's profile you agree that all the work that you are going to be submitting is yours and that you have the copyright to them but once you do that step you through, you upload the songs that are yours, agree that those are yours and that they aren't somebody else's music except posts and then start making friends. You can also create banners and images and go to groups for the type of music that you make, post the images there, say hey check out my music and also do the same on your friend's pages. Post images linking back to your profile. Post comments on friend pages also post bulletins, things saying check out my music if you like this and this or such and such band then you'll like this band or you'll like my music and it also helps to have pictures of your band or whoever makes the music. You can also post pictures of your band in your photo gallery so people can become more acquainted with your band. If you have videos you can post those as well and that's how you promote your own music on myspace."
