Hello my name is John Niemira. I wanted to talk to you about getting a business name. Whether you have already chosen the name, whether it is a name you are going to select, get help from your family to select, the process is going down to your local city or county offices to get an application, an application for a business name. There are a couple different ways depending whether you are using your own name or a fictitious business name. Your own name, you could use your first or your last name. You do not need the application for a fictitious business name. A fictitious business name is only if you are naming the company something other than yourself. In this case the application process is fairly simple. It is a one to two page application. It is a minimal charge. I believe it was $35 I believe the last time I got a business name. You go down to your local county or city government offices, go to the business department, they will send you to the right line, get you the right application and make sure you have somebody to look it over before you turn it in. If you need any more information on this subject or any other subject in the business field my e-mail address is
