Hi everyone, my name is Isabelle. I am a nutrition consultant, in the Tampa Bay area, and today, we're going to learn how to boost your metabolism naturally. If your intention is to lose weight, here is the best and safest way to do so. You're going to need to eat smaller portions of food, more often, and this is why. When you eat, say every two or three hours, of good foods, and we're going to go over that in just a moment, you are tricking the body into thinking, oh, there's ample supply of plenty of food, I can burn it all off. I don't need to reserve and keep for any days at all, I'm just going to use it all. Whether if you don't eat for awhile, for some people don't eat for five, six, seven hours at a time, and the body thinks, oh my god, there is no food supply. I need to save. I need to save all the fat cells I can, just to keep this person alive, so see, the more often you eat, the more calories you're going to burn, and your metabolism is going to get faster, because you're recreating a new system inside your body. Step two, is how you combine your foods. There's different ways of doing this. You always want to mix protein, which you can find in meat, fish, eggs, nuts, dairy products. You want to mix the good fats, which you can find in flaxseed oil, olive oil, nuts, and the good carbs, meaning the carbs that you find in whole grains, fruits and vegetables.
