Hi everyone, my name is Isabelle. I am a Nutrition and Wellness Consultant in the Tampa Bay area and today we're going to learn about the best foods to eat after a colon cleanse. You want to be extremely gentle on your body because after a colon cleanse, you know, you want to make sure that your digestive tract is not going to work very, very strongly and heavily to digest the food that you're going to eat. So, there's certain foods that you absolutely, 100% want to stay away from. Firs of all, alcohol; not a good idea after a colon cleanse. Second, fried foods; stay away from fried foods, processed foods; anything that has hydrogenated oils, stay away. It will be extremely painful on your body if you have those. So now that we have eliminated, you know, the don'ts; let's focus on the do's. In front of me I've got a palette of colors; fresh fruits and raw vegetables. That is a way to start after a colon cleanse and even on the regular diet. The more colors on your plates, the better nutrients and the more fiber you'll get. That purples, reds, orange, yellows, whites, greens, you name it. Think rainbow. That would be a good start after a colon cleanse. Lots of vitamins, lots of minerals, lots of fiber in fruits and vegetables. Whole grains are another good idea after a colon greens, cleanse; like brown rice is very good; anything that is, you know, bally; oatmeals, that is a good way to have high fiber in your diet. Something that would be helpful as well is anything that has, like fermented keifer, for instance; you can buy it, that at any supermarket in the dairy section. If you're lucky enough to have a market, an outdoor market in your area, you can actually probably get goat milk keifer which is probably one of the very best to help with your digestive tract. So that would be a good recommendation after a colon cleanse. And last, but certainly not least, water, lots of it. Ideally, whether it's after a colon cleanse or normal day, you should be drinking half your body weight in ounces of water; half your body weight in ounces of water. So remember this. I hope you learn something new today and I look forward to speaking with you really soon. Take care.
