Hey, my name is Shaun. And I'm here with the WIlmington Boxing and Fitness Center. And I'm here today to talk to you about exercise machines for bad knees. This is one that is really popular with physical therapists and if you have bad knees this is the leg extension machine right here. And what you want to do starting out is if you have bad knees or just getting back into it, especially someone that has bad knees across the patella or your Acl, you want to start out doing maybe partial reps when doing it. So you want to start out sitting down, adjusting the machine to fit you. Adjust your weight because you want to do maybe lighter weights starting out because if you have that bad knee you don't want to put too much stress starting out. Start out with lighter weights. And start with the bad knee first. Work that one the one knee and just do partial reps. So come maybe half way starting out. You want a partial rep. Don't extend the joint out too much. And this machine here is the one for bad knees that you will want to use.
