Hey. My name is Shaun and I'm here today to talk to you about leg press equipment. Here at the gym we have a leg press machine here and what you want to do when you're sitting down on this machine here you want to sit down and this machine is going to work your quadriceps and your glutes. First you want to put your feet up make sure they are about shoulder width apart. And you want to press up to release the handle, your safety handle, and when you're pressing up you want to breathe out as you're pressing up. And you don't want your knees going all the way back down to your chest. That's going to put a lot of stress on your knees. So you want to come down. As you're pressing up you want to breathe out. Making sure that you're not locking out your legs completely. Keep a slight bend in your knees. So you're going to go down, press up. And when you're done you want to put the safety handle back up. And the key muscles that I talked about when using this exercise are your quadriceps and your glutes. That's how you use the leg press machine.
