"Hey, my name is Shaun and I'm here with the Wilmington Box and a Fitness Center. Today I'm going to show you how to train for the 400 meters. There's certain exercises that you can do for your speed and strengthening your legs and one of the ones that I do to start out doing skips with, with your legs. You're going to bring your feet up, get it back down right upon to you. So you're going to be doing that and that stretches your legs out for your stride frequency. That brings your feet right upon to you which you need for running right in place. Another exercise is butt kicks. And you're going to be bringing your feet up. That's how you do butt kicks. But, when trying to four, to 400 meters, you want to make sure that you also using weights also and use the squat machines or the leg press machine. And if you're training for speed and doing the 400 meters, you can also tires or some kind of harness which can, which can forces you to pull against resistance. That's going to increase your speed and it's call over-training. It's going to cause you to run with harness or like a parachute behind you, it's going to increase your speed because you're going to run against resistance. That's how you train for the 400 meters."
