"Hi, I'm Laura from youngwritersworkshops.com I'm going to talk about the definition of a progressive verb. A progressive verb is one that indicates an ongoing action, and an example of a present progressive verb is "I am taking a walk". Am taking is the progressive verb. There's also a past tense of progressive verbs, and so for that example it would be, "I was taking a walk". And a future tense version of progressive verb the same example would be, "I will be taking a walk". So, again, a progressive verb is one that indicates an ongoing action. That's a little definition of a progressive verb."
