So choosing the activities should be directly related back to the theme that you've set for your family night. A good rule of thumb for planning an activity that's going to involve different family members if to make it...make sure you have some visual components. There might be younger children who aren't reading or there may be, you know, just a variety of learners. So you want to include something really visual to keep people's interest. And some of the materials you might choose are props. For example, if you're having an...a family night that's about geography, artifacts from the countries that you're studying or colorful maps that show the location of the country are really helpful and keep people interested. Another thing to think about is refreshments. If you can include...incorporate refreshments into some of the activities as appropriate, that can be really helpful because everyone enjoys being able to use many senses when they're learning about something. Also, think about getting some door prizes for a family night. This could be could use...incorporate them into your activities where someone may...for participating may receive a small prize, and you can usually get businesses or local companies to donate some materials if it's for your school. So those are some ideas about planning activities for a family night at school.
