Hi, this is Rachael Richardson, with Nutrolution Incorporated, in South Beach, Florida. In this clip, we're talking about negative calorie foods. So, every food is associated with calories which is energy. It's what's con contained in the food, and our bodies actually will process through this food and then have a residual effect; such as eighty calories from let's say a slice of bread, or three hundred calories from a bowl of macaroni and cheese. And these calories can all basically, in our bodies if we're not using them, become stored as energy, calories are just energy, and then we have this, we manifest it as fat. Well, did you know that there are actually foods that have a negative calorie impact. In other words, you can eat them and they actually help you burn fat, because the amount of energy that is consumed in digesting the food actually is more than what is contained by the food itself. Well, it is true, and that's where vegetables really come into play. So, lettuce is one of those foods. Lettuce takes actually more energy to burn, to digest the food than it contains in the lettuce itself. Other examples are foods like celery, spinach, broccoli to a certain degree, so focus on those. This is Rachael, with Nutrolution, in Miami Beach, Florida.
