Hi, my name is Dave Andrews, today I am going to show you how to restore deleted files from a memory card. Let's go to our computer. I am going to use a program called Restoration. So you click on your start button, you go to the Internet, you can download this file from a popular software website called Snap Files, just go to snap files dot com, and then do a search inside of their website for Restoration. Now in the results you are going to see here Restoration which is a undelete utility, just click on it it is absolutely free to download and install, and then click on download, now I have already have it downloaded. So I am going to go where I have it installed to which is on my C drive. And then under the folder Restoration. Let's, on Vista you have to run it as an administrator, so let's right click on it and say run as administrator, on XP or anything like that you would just double click on it. You have to click allow to run as administrator, and this is the main program right here. I will, move it around for you, basically on the side here you can select your drive and you can after you select a file to restore you click on restore by copying. Over here on the left is the list of any files that it finds that it is able to restore. So I am going to insert a memory card here that I have, and it is going to come up on my computer and then I am going to select to restore from that drive. Actually since I put the card in after I lost Restoration I am going to have to relaunch Restoration or else it wont show up. So that card is drive G. Now I am going to select on the side here drive G, and then I am going to click on search deleted files. It is now scanning that memory card and it has come up with a list of files that I can restore, I will just pick the one that I want, and then down here at the very bottom I will click on restore by copying, and choose where I want to restore it to. My file here, vocabulary review, has just been restored. My name is Dave Andrews and I have just showed you how to restore files from a memory card.
