How to Restore Deleted Files on a SD Card

"Hi, my name's Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to restore deleted files from an SD card. Now I have here, a card reader. It has an SD card plugged into it and I want to restore any files that I've deleted off of that little SD card. We're going to use a program called restoration which is a free download. Let's just go to our computer and open up the Internet. Internet. And we're going to go to a popular software website. It's called SnapFiles. Go to www.snapfiles.com and on their site, we want to do a search over here on the right for restoration. Now in the results that are returned, you're going to find a freeware program called Restoration. Just click on that and then scroll down a little bit until you see the download button. I've already got that downloaded. So I'm going to close this. We're going to go to where I have it downloaded to which is the C: drive, Restoration. Now on Vista, you have to run as administrator, so I'm going to right-click and say run as administrator. Now what we have here is a list of any files that it finds that it can restore as well as a list of the drives. Let's select our SC card drive. This one here is drive K: and I'm going to say search deleted files. It's finding a lot of files that have been deleted off of this drive. And I'm just going to find one here, let's say Egypt Guides. Click on it. And then I'm going to click down to the very, very bottom here where it says restore. Save that and here is my restored file that I can then open up.
