About AARP Term Life insurance

"Life insurance is certainly one of the most important products that people can use, and it assumes different weights of importance at various stages of peoples lives. Some people like a whole life product, others prefer a term life insurance product. And AARP just tries to be a responsible part of the market place there in licensing what we feel like are quality life insurance products. These are not ones that we manage and run, they're just ones that we've examined and say we feel like this is a good opportunity for our members. But it's one that they can compare with other life insurance products, and make a decision about which one is best for them. And our main job is to make sure that there is plenty of quality choices there for people. Well taking care of your health is obviously a big priority for anyone at any age, and most especially for people fifty and above. So AARP offers some health insurance products to make those available to people. This probably our best known product in that area would be a medicare supplement insurance to pay those expenses that medicare doesn't cover. It's really important to take care of your health at any age. And even more so as you get towards your older years. So AARP wants to be a part of the market place offering a variety of health insurance products from a very popular medicare supplement policy that pays the cost that medicare doesn't cover to major medical plans, dental insurance, and so we're out there trying to be a part of the choices that people have to protect their health."
