Hi I'm Rachael Richardson with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida. In this clip we're talking about which foods are high in zinc. So one of the best foods that you can eat to consume high levels of zinc or good quantities of zinc are your nuts and your seeds. Pecans are very, very high in zinc, also these here, these pumpkin seeds are incredibly high in zinc and when I say incredibly I mean they're rich in zinc, they're not too high in zinc. As a matter of fact most people are deficient in zinc and it's because our is deficient in zinc overall and it also has to do with the amount of stress and immune load that we incur everyday because zinc is used for immune function and it's also used to reduce stress and improve our neurotransmitter function. For that reason I do recommend taking a zinc supplement, this is one that I've personally take and carry. And getting around 40 to 60 milligrams a day in split doses is the best way to take zinc.
