Hi I'm Rachael Richardson with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida. In this clip we're talking about how does alcohol poisoning affect your body and I've got with me a little white wine right here. Actually this would be one of my preferred choices for alcohol if you are going to consume red wine of course because it's got those vital nutrients but the topic at hand is how does alcohol poisoning affect your body and basically I refer back to my theory of toxic load and wanting to keep the amount of toxins going in to your body to the level at which your body can detoxify. So going over the point of about one to two drinks for women and probably two to three for men in a day is more alcohol than we can actually detoxify in one day. So over time what happens is it will start to stress your liver and your liver will start to dysfunction and our liver is in charge of all kinds of detoxification functions in our body as well as regulating our cholesterol levels and our hormones and many other things. So you definitely have to keep your liver healthy and keep your alcohol levels down to a healthy level. This has been Rachael with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida.
