Hi. I'm Rachael Richardson with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida. In this clip, we're talking about foods that help reduce your uric acid levels. And uric acid comes from foods that are very high in acid. So basically your meat, your dairy, alcohol, consuming alcohol, all these things end up producing more uric acid in your body. And some people if they're not clearing it effectively can develop acidity conditions such as gout. So if that applies to you or if you have a family history, you're going to want to cut back on some of those foods, modestly at least and include more foods that reduce your uric acid levels. So just to be very, very general about that, basically all of your fruits and vegetables are going to be your best bet, as well as some of your nuts and your seeds. One specific food or two rather, that help to reduce uric acid levels are bromelain and papain which are enzymes found in pineapple and papaya.
