Hi this is Rachael Richardson with Nutrolution Incorporated in South Beach, Florida. In this clip we are talking about the health benefits of dark chocolate and actually believe it or not I make up meal plans for my patients all the time and almost always in a meal plan if somebody is a chocolate lover we include a little bit of chocolate at the end of the day or mid day for a little pick me up but it's a small amount so taking a dark chocolate like this one and just one or two squares is the amount that we want to use and I think that's where it really matters and then pairing it up with something like a cup of peppermint tea or pairing it up with, actually taking some nut butter like some natural peanut butter and spreading it on top and eating it like that almost like a homemade Reese's Peanut Butter Cup is a good way to do it. Some of the benefits of dark chocolate are that it is rich in antioxidants, helps support cardiovascular function and helps to prevent degenerative diseases through its antioxidant levels.
