"My name is Walt Case. I own Card Traders of Austin in Austin, Texas. We've been in business for about fourteen years. Questions come up from time to time if you're getting a jersey, how do I tell if that jersey is authentic? One of the ways is to look for various indications. This happens to be a Vince Young Jersey. You will notice the NFL logo is up here and on the bottom of the jersey, you will see tags of that nature. That indicates that that jersey is authentic. The only difference between getting an autographed jersey like the Vince Young and a jersey like the Matt Liner, is that you're going to pay more for the authentic jersey because the authentic jersey costs more. The autograph, what you pay for the autograph is going to be the same whether it's on an authentic jersey, on a replica jersey. So it kind of depends on what your budget will allow and what you'll want to spend in terms of the actual item that you get autographed. The third type of jersey is a game used jersey. Those are very, very expensive and also very hard to obtain. Those simply mean that that jersey was actually worn in a game by that player. Again, the autograph is going to be the same. They're not going to charge you anymore to sign a game used jersey, or replica jersey, or authentic jersey. It's the item you're getting signed that determines the actual cost or value of the merchandise."
