Alright folks in this clip I'm going to teach you how to create your own super hero. For me this is a really fun process, starting from scratch, the blank page. Often times you have an idea of the type of character that you would like to create going in. You sort of know the story and maybe you can create it a personal history. You set up the world that they are going to inhabit and their back story, how they became the hero that they are but this early stage when you are designing the early look of it, this is really the fun, fun part because basically you get to step inside the character's head and actually figure out why it is that they wear the things that they wear, why they look the way that they do, why do they present themselves in the way that they do so really get in there and allow yourself to get lose in the details. One thing obviously that you are going to keep consistent unless you want to be a little bit different is most superheroes there is a certain body style and stance and sort of physical presence that they all have. Most of them are very lean fit and seems the stereotype is to wear very form fitting clothes so you can always deviate from that but that is the common book standard but from there allow yourself to explore the possibilities. Like get creative with the costume design and once you firmly establish the look of the character you will find that crafting the story becomes that much easier so that is basically how you create a superhero.
