"One of my favorite ways to catch rock bass with worms is on a simple split shot rig like this one. The way you're going to want to hook the worm on a rig like this is by threading it through like I show you now. You want to take your night crawler from the top end, it's a little thicker, and then put the point in near the top, it doesn't have to be directly on the top, but near it. And then the idea here is to keep the hook inside the worm, thread it up the hook and when you get about there, put the point through and then run the worm up the hook like that. With the split shot gives it the depth it needs to get down to where the rock fish live and nice rock fish can't resist a night crawler in a presentation like that. Another great way to catch larger sized rock bass is with a small shiner. Go to your local bait shop and ask for the small medium size, rig it on a split shot rig just like this and you'll be having some good luck I bet with the rock bass."
