"How to choose a TV. There are two basic types of TV's, LCD, and Plasma. Many things to consider, is what type of programming you're going to be watching. If you're going to be watching sporting events, you'll probably want a Plasma TV, because it's a little bit quicker and faster, to react to fast moving objects. Also, LCD's are pretty much manufactured down as low as 13 inch in size, and they can go all the way up to 70 inch, where Plasmas would start at about 42 inch, and go up from there, so they don't make a small Plasma TV. The LCD's require less power for operation than a Plasma will, so if you want to get an LCD, and save a little bit of electricity, you can do that. Also, something to consider, is how far away from the TV you're sitting. If you're sitting in your typical living room, twelve foot distance, you'll probably want a TV that's somewhere at least in the 42 inch size. Smaller rooms like a bedroom, maybe a 37 or a 32."
