"Hi, I'm Noah and I'm going to show you how to make your website popular with link building. Link building is a practice of getting other websites to have a link to your website on theirs. The advantage of this is that Google's main factor for ranking websites according to search words is by how many links you have linking to your site, meaning no matter how relevant the key words are to your site, if there's no other sites that aren't actually pages from yours linking to your site, then Google won't give it a good ranking. Also, keep in mind that one way links are valued a lot more than vice versa links meaning that if you get somebody to link to your site without linking back, Google will give a lot of value to that link in in the ranking. However, if you ask somebody to link to your site and they ask you to link back to your site, and you both have links to each other's site, it will still help, but just not as much. An easy way to to keep track of who's linking to your website is to use Google webmaster tools. This is an absolutely free service provided by Google for Webmasters, just as long as you have a Google account. After a short verification process to make sure you're the owner of your website, you'll be able to access lots of statistics about your site and to see specifically what sites are linking to yours. Finally, this will also help your site's popularity because people looking on the other sites might just follow the link onto yours. So not only will it help with the Google ranking, but it will also lead to people with similar interests going to your site."
