"Hi, I'm Gary Malec, and in this video I'm going to talk to you about taking apart your laptop. Now, this is not for the novice or someone that doesn't really know what they're doing. You want to be very careful, because they're very....a lot of stuff packed into a tiny little package, here. What I would recommend is, removing your keyboard first and foremost, because then you can get in your mother board. Some RAMs under there, your processor. There's a lot of things that you can do. I already have the keyboard unhooked. But there's just two screws in the bottom, and you can check out my other video to see how to remove the keyboard. But now here we are, we're inside, and we have RAM processor, and some various other things going on. Now if you want to get further than this, you're going to have to go in the bottom, and there's....where you see all these screw holes, you're going to have to remove all the screws. And then here's a hard drive caddy, you're going to have to remove that. You're definitely going to want to remove your battery. Before you do anything, actually, always remove your battery. And then you're going to find some more screws under there. And once you get that done, you're going to have to come back around and take these screws out of the screen. Take that off. And then when you get in there, you'll be able to pull your screen out, and then you'll have your laptop all apart, in a million pieces, and hopefully, you'll know how to put it back together. But, there's not really much of a reason to take apart your laptop. One of the only reasons I can really think of is, a lot of people break their input jacks, from tripping over 'em while they're plugged in and stuff, and that's one major reason. But other than that, I mean, to take it apart you want to remove your keyboard, because there's always going to be RAM under here that you just can't get to without it. So, that's one good reason. Well, good luck and be careful."
