"OK the model or the model number of the motherboard is generally pretty difficult to find because there's a lot of writing on the motherboard. When you want this information is when you're wanting A, technical support or B, to look at the documentation that's on the website for this particular motherboard. So you lost the book and you want to learn how to hookup all the connectors again. So you would look for first off the brand name which generally will be emblazoned in many different places but in this case, it's right here on and it says ASUS which is one of the big motherboard companies. And then you have to find the model number which will be emblazoned as well but generally not in such as obvious place. In my case on my motherboard, it's right here. It says P4800SE. That's the model of the motherboard. So if I were going online to look for documentation how to hookup the motherboard light connectors and the hard drive activities lights, you want to take a look at ASUS's website and point yourself to the P4800SE and it will give you that documentation usually in Adobe Acrobat format that you can download and review yourself."
