"My name is Bill Rae. I'm with Alumni Financial Services. I've been in the business of the finance world for well over 20 years. And you're asking about tips on buying stocks. Well first of all let me say this, I'm not going to give you any stock advice, you need to talk with a licensed agent in order to do that. However I will caution you on this, when you hear tips on how to buy stocks, make sure it's not what we call the water cooler type tips. In other words you heard from a friend of a friend who heard this and therefore it's a good stock, it's going to move. What I can tell you about the stock market is this, it will go up, it will go down. And sometimes it moves side to side apparently. No one knows when these things are going to happen. There's too many things that can affect the stock market. The economy, wars, natural disasters, deaths of certain people inside companies, all these things can affect the stocks. So if you want good sound advice on tips on stocks, my tip to you is do your homework. Start learning the language, do understand that there is no overnight magic pill that's going to pop and you're going to make the next big hit. But if you do your homework and you work with a licensed professional, you have a better chance of earning a good return on your money. It is a longterm, it is a commitment, it is something you should with knowledge and patience and as always we recommend know what it is you're signing, know what it's going to cost you and seek outside counsel. My name is Bill Rae, I'm with Alumni Financial Services and as always, we're here to help you build wealth."
