Some women want to know how to gain weight after a miscarriage. After a miscarriage happens the woman is normally grieving and that can lead to a decline in her appetite. A decline in appetite is related to depression and the one thing that a woman who's just experienced a miscarriage needs is time to heal. First of all, give yourself permission that time to heal and know that nothing that you did had anything to do with causing the miscarriage. That's the biggest factor in what I could say to you. Do things that can help stimulate your appetite. Taking a short walk, being out in the fresh air, concentrating on yoga or your normal exercise routine or even meditating, praying or listening to music. These are all things that can distract your mind and may help your appetite. Also, make your calories count. Eat high protein, high carbohydrate meals or snacks like peanut butter, cheese and nuts that can give you the energy that you need and calories that you need to help your body heal. But most of all give your self time to heal and to get through this. That's the most important thing.
