"Hello. My name is Dr. Carol Clark. I'm a licensed mental health counselor and sex therapist, here in Miami, Florida. In this clip, we're going to talk about how to lower libido. And, the first thing you might ask, is why would I want to do that? Well, more than one reason. Sometimes your partner may not have as much of a sex drive as you do. And, you just want to lower your libido, so that you're not so consumed with wanting sex all the time. Sometimes people want to have sex in inappropriate ways. Some kind of compulsive obsessive thinking is going on, and you know you're spending too much time on the Internet, you're looking places where you really don't want to look. So the way we lower libido, is to first acknowledge that there is a problem. And then, look at gaining balance in your life. And do other things. Introduce mental activities, physical activities, spiritual activities, that will redirect your energy. There are also some herbs that you can take, or medications, any thing that reduces testosterone and raises estrogen will lower your libido. Once again, this is Dr. Carol Clark, in Miami, Florida."
