Well, pretty much any type of debt, even a credit card can be garnished from wages. There is certain States that simply do not allow wage garnishment. However, what you have to do is you have to check with either a qualified attorney, or check on the internet and find out about wage garnishment policies or, you local State laws. I do know that for a fact that there are three state where you can't garnish someone wages, which is the State of Florida, Pennsylvania, and the State of Texas. As far as I know also is North Carolina, but again what you have to do is you really have to find out in your local State law. But, your number one thing, don't even get to the point where they can garnish your wages or, you actually end up with a judgment where they can garnish your wages. What you really want to do is you want to get out of debt faster. In order to do that you definitely have to seek help, a professional like my company Clear Financial.
