Are you an investor in a hedge fund and ever wondered who did the day-to-day activity that it takes to bring you your statements and their website and the rates of return that you might see in your investments? Hi, this is Roger Groh of Groh Asset Management. Today, we're here to talk about hedge fund administrators. What are they? Well, those are really the people behind the scenes who provide the administrative help for you. They create your account, they maintain the websites, they send you your statements, they tally up the overall rates of returns, they do the filings, they do whatever needs to be done. Now, some administrators are in-house, some are out of house, and it's the hedge fund managers' choice as to which way to go. Why care? Well, you want to be sure that the back office is properly staffed to ensure that you know exactly what is going on in your account in your part of the hedge fund. After all, it's your money. Watch carefully. I'm Roger Groh with Groh Asset, and thank you very much for spending a few minutes with me.
