"This is John Pinelli, financial representative, talking to you about temporary health insurance for travel. Oftentimes, when people are going on vacations, they want to purchase some temporary health insurance to provide them care if they're, say, in a foreign country and they need a...they have some sort of major medical problem or something should arise while they're on vacation. Now, these sort of travel plans can be purchased for a specific trip or vacation. They can be purchased for a period of time of a week up to months, and it's important to shop around to see which provider will provide you with the best plan for you. Obviously, different countries that you travel to or different places that you travel to are going to have different rates based on the dangers within that country, diseases that are possible, et cetera. There's a number of carriers that do offer these types of plans specifically for traveling abroad, and these may be places like Travelpro, Travelex, various companies that are specifically designed to provide you coverage for this type of traveling event that you may go on.
