"Today's topic is how to choose a location for your business. And if you talk to anybody in real estate, they're going to tell you that there are three factors involve in locating a home or a business, but since we're talking about small business today, location, location and location. You want to, after you've done your business analysis and you know where the traffic is, that you're going to want to pull into your place or to market your services, you're going to want to draw some attention to your services or products. And in order to do that, you're going to need to market yourself where they already are or pulled them into you. For example, the businesses around us have signage. That signage is telling customers that they're there, that they're open and they want the passersby to come in. If you go off on one of these side streets, you're going to find businesses that also want passersby to come in; but they're not going to have near the traffic and visibility that these ones on the main street are going to get."
