Retrieving Deleted Data

"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to talk to you about retrieving deleted data. And when you delete a file on your computer. It goes into what's called the Recycle bin or the Trash Bin. And this is basically a storage location for files that have been deleted. But you might want to retrieve. And therefore you have to actually clear the Recycle Bin. Before the files are actually gone. So I'm going to show you how to retrieve a file from the Recycling Bin. That you've accidentally deleted. Here's my desktop. And I have some pictures from a trip to Hawaii. And let's say that I accidentally delete those files. Plains Lakey. Those files are now gone. But the good news is, they've been moved into the Recycle Bin. And if I had accidentally deleted them. They're very to restore. I'm just going to double click on the Recycle Bin. And you have two main methods for storing files from the Recycle Bin. You can either right click on those files. And click on Restore. Which will put it back to the location, where it was originally. And as you can see here, down to the very bottom. It tells me that it was on my desktop. In a folder called Hawaii. Or you can kind of, move this window over a little bit. And you can just drag and drop the files to where you'd want to restore them to. only use the right click and restore method. As you can see, they've been removed from the Recycle Bin. But my pictures from Hawaii are now back on my desktop. It's that easy to restore deleted files. My name is Dave Andrews. And I've just showed you how to restore deleted data from your computer."
