Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today, I'm going to show you how to clean a computer of pictures. Let's go to our computer, and I'll show you how to first search for pictures, and then remove them. To find pictures on your computer click on your start button. Then, let's find the pictures area. Right click on it, and we're going to want to go to search. Now, this brings up the the Windows search mechanism that's going to search our drive for pictures. I'm just going to click on picture, and one one thing that we have to do is search for types of pictures. Types will be jpg, which is jpg, gif pictures which are gif, png, but the most common that you're going to come across is jpg, because that's what most digital cameras use. So basically, what I'm going to do is up here in the search area I'm going to type star.jpg, and what that's going to do is that's going to return any picture that ends in .jpg. The star means return everything. Actually, it didn't return any pictures there, so I'm going to change this to search public folders, or star.jpg. As you can see, I've got a whole bunch of pictures here, and you may have a whole lot more that are taking up memory on your computer that you want to get rid of. What I'd suggest you do first is make sure they're not something that you want to back up. If they are, copy em' to the CD drive, copy em' to another computer, or floppy drive. And after you make your backup just click on the first picture you want to remove which is this little toucan, scroll down to the bottom, hold the shift key, and click on the last one. That selects all of these images. And then, just press your delete key. It's going to warn you that you're deleting fifteen pictures. It's going to say yes. Then, as you can see my recycle bin is full, and there's all these pictures in here. To completely delete them just empty the recycle bin. Those pictures are now gone. My name's Dave Andrews, and I've just showed you how to clean your computer of pictures.
