How to Remove Wax From Floor Tiles

"Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and I'm going to show you how to remove wax from your floor tiles. If you use a cleaner that has on the label, it's going to make your floors extra shiny, it's because it has wax in it. It's not a good idea to clean any of your floors with wax. If you use vinegar and water, it's perfectly safe for your floors. It's not going to build up, and even for what, it's not going to hurt anything. If you use cleaners like this, they're going to build wax up on your floor, after a time. If you have a spot on your floor that looks like a brown or blackish messy spot, that's the wax. That's what you want to remove, so grab the ammonia, and get two gallons of water in a bucket. Add about a half a cup of ammonia to the solution. Open some windows, because the smell of ammonia will really knock you down. Sweep your floors first of course, or vacuum them, and just use your mop to apply, and really work in that ammonia and water solution. If there is a lot of wax buildup, you may have to stop every few swipes, rinse your mop out. Make sure to rinse it out with clean water, and then put it back in to the ammonia, water solution. It works like a stripper for your floors. After your floor is dry, step back, take a look at them, see if there's any spots you missed, and you can go back over them, and after that, try using vinegar and water to clean your floors with instead.
