Hi, this is Matt McKillen with Innovative Financial Group. The question posed to me today was, "Do you need a financial planner?" Well, it can go either way in regards to the answer to that question. Let's face it, with what's going on in the country right now, with the decline in the stock market and a lot of investment houses going insolvent, a lot of companies stock prices are declining; my recommendation is that you probably would want some good advice on where to put your life savings or your retirement. Some people feel they can manage it better on their own. Some people think they should just pull the money out of the stock market, put it into a savings account or CD. It's kind of like working out, "Do you really need a personal trainer or can you do it on your own?" I think that if you're considering getting a financial planner, probably your best bet is to interview a few of them. Maybe talk to two or three, see if you get a comfort level. And one of the important things I've always suggested to my clients, not that I am a financial planner, but, you want to diversify where your money is going. Don't put it all into one investment. That way, if there's a problem with that one investment, your, your, kind of spreading the risk out of month's, maybe two or three different avenues. But as a whole, I really think that with this craziest the markets have been, retirement savings, planning for the future; probably your best bet is to, to find someone that can be trusted, that is knowledgeable and kind of can guide you along in the process. So my recommendation is, it does not hurt to at least talk to at least a couple of financial planners and find some advice. Again, my name is Matt McKillen. I am with Innovative Financial Group.
