It's important if you're considering terminating a pregnancy to look at your individual health plan to determine whether or not this coverage is available to you. If the coverage is not available to you, then you may want to consider other resources such as Planned Parenthood which can provide you with both support, counseling, advice and even connect you with some providers, some doctors who may perform this procedure at a discounted rate. If you're young and in college, many times the health services center that you have on campus at your school will provide the services such as an early termination of pregnancy, also things like birth control etcetera to prevent you from having to deal with a pregnancy that you may not have planned or wanted. So it's important to look and to use the resources that are available out there to you if in fact your health care provider does not provide coverage for termination of pregnancy. In some states termination of pregnancy is legal such as California whereas other states termination of pregnancy is not legal. So it's important to understand the rules, regulations and laws of your individual state before considering this type of procedure.
