"Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm here to talk to you about some funky hairstyles for your teen. A lot of teenagers are getting back into putting their hair up. Ponytails, pigtails, hair accessories are all a great way to put some funk into your hair if you won't let your teenager color their hair. Another big thing that's really big with teenagers right now is different colors; pinks, blues, yellows, greens. Now they're hard to keep and they're a lot of maintenance and the best way to do them is with highlights. So if you're going to add blue or purple or something to your hair, you're going to want to make sure they're always pre-lighten that hair. So in other words, you're going to want to lighten it up to, fairly light blond and then you would get something like your Manic Panic or your Egg Works by Paul Mitchell and apply that over and that's how you can get the purples, the greens and the different colors. If you are not wanting to do that, you're not want a permanent change, you can definitely go get some really cool hair extensions and their just different colors. You can get purples, you can get reds, greens, pinks, all kinds of stuff. I've got two or three pair of them. And you just clip them in, really easy and those are some great ways that you can just temporarily funk up your hair for the day. And it can, you know, you just want to have fun, you just want to use your teasing comb and, and you know, get in there and have fun and use your curling iron. Do different things to your hair. But by changing some things and getting some extensions and stuff that you can put in temporarily, some great way to add some spunk to your hairstyle."
