Hi, there. My name is Mark and we're going to talk today about how to increase your business by buying gifts or corporate gifts, um, as a form of marketing for your company. Why would you do this? A lot of people do this to, as I've just mentioned, market or promote the business. And, by basically keeping in touch with existing or previous customers. Now, the question is, how do you go about doing this. First you have to look at your company books and realize that this is going to come out of a budget. In this case, the advertising budget because it is a commercial idea. The idea of obviously getting your name, your business, out to the marketplace. So you have to think, how much of your budget can you allocate to this kind of an activity. And then the question is again, what type of gifts would they be. I think in this case you really need to consider what your business is and the kind of message you want to pass on to your potential customers. I mean we can talk about pens, calendars, T-shirts, chocolates, key rings. I mean, these are the most basic, obvious ones. And the idea is obviously is to put your name, the company, contact details on these gifts, corporate gifts so people know that when they're considering, for example, plumbers, yours is the best, the most convenient company to contact.
