Hi, I'm Rachael Richardson, with Nutrolution, in Miami Beach, Florida. In this clip, we're talking about what is red yeast rice, and red yeast rice is actually it's a plant, and it's become a nutraceutical of sorts. It's it sort of falls under the herbal category, and it's used to help reduce cholesterol levels. My understanding of red yeast rice is that it works on reducing the amount of bad cholesterol that the liver is producing, and so it actually helps in in that mechanism. So definitely, you can look into, I would actually recommend that you research red yeast rice further, but I have worked with clients that have been successful using red yeast rice to reduce their cholesterol levels. Other things that are going to help you reduce your cholesterol levels are really drastically reducing your processed foods and your sugar intake, and increasing your healthy fats like your olive oil, your avocado, your nuts and seeds, and your healthy fruits and vegetables that help raise all of your nutrients needed to support healthier cardiovascular function and cholesterol levels. This is Rachael, with Nutrolution, in Miami Beach, Florida.
