Hi I'm Rachael Richardson with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida. In this clip we're talking about what is compulsive overeating and compulsive overeating is something that does affect more people than I think we think of. Of course I know who they are because I am the nutritionist who sits people down and finds out about their eating habits and their relationship with food but it basically occurs when a person is very out of touch with what's happening in their body and they're not listening to their body and they may be very out of balance in terms of how much nutrition they have in their body and whether they're balanced biochemically so if you are a compulsive overeater or you realize that you have that tendency to be now and then I definitely encourage you to work on building your biochemistry back up by repleting with some nutrients. I have here with me a green's formula that I use to help replete the body with micronutrients. This actually tastes and feels really really good when you drink it and it tastes delicious so it is not a sacrifice at all. Other things I recommend that you do besides just breathing and meditating and being aware of your eating process are to do things like include a big hearty salad in the beginning of a meal and prior to your meal so that you're more likely to slow down and to feel full and satisfied after your meal.
