Hi, I'm Rachael Richardson with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida. In this clip we're talking about what are the effects of chocolate on people? And this is kind of a fun interesting question and to give you a very candid answer to that question. I think the effects of chocolate on people are generally good. It raises your neurotransmitter levels. It contributes to mouth feel and really just makes people happy. The question is what type of chocolate are you consuming? So here I have with me a dark chocolates. Dark chocolate chunks. And I believe it's around 70% dark chocolate which is excellent because that means that it has less sugar. It's got more cocoa and less sugar. And cocoa is actually a very very healthy thing for us in small quantities. So it actually contributes anti-oxidants and it helps to stimulate us so there's a little bit of caffeine of course. The problem with chocolate comes in when we consume a lot of the American chocolates actually that are laced with just tons of sugar, partially hydrogenated fats. In fact I recently read that certain companies in the United States are trying to pass legislation so that they can call a product chocolate and it literally contains no chocolate at all. Just sugar, artificial colors and hydrogenated fats. So definitely chose your chocolate wisely and enjoy a little bit every day. This has been Rachael with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida.
