"How to take care of nuisance wildlife, rodent and pest problems. This is Ed with Critter Control of Tampa Bay. How to get rid of bats. They're in my house. Wow. How do I get rid of those bats? First of all, seal everyplace that they're not at. Seal your house. I use a lot of hardware cloth and stuff it into areas so that they can't get into those areas anymore. Build the animals out of the house at the point of entry. Allow them out but not back in. Use a check valve, a one way door. For ways to do this, look it up on crittercontrol.com or at BCI, Bat Conservation International, an excellent website. You can get demonstrations of how to build these animals out and get rid of the bats. We use a lot of screening to allow the bats to go out and not to get back in. So check those websites. That'll give you ideas of how to get rid of the bats from your house. You really don't want them inside, but you do want them out. This is Ed with Critter Control in Tampa Bay."
