"How to take care of nuisance wildlife, rodent and pest problems. This is Ed with Critter Control in Tampa Bay. Do mice bite? They sure do. They can bite through this computer cable in a matter of seconds. They do gnaw. They can sure destroy your electrical system. They do bite. Their teeth grow. That's what makes them a rodent. But, besides that, they do gnaw. Two to five percent of their day is gnawing to keep their teeth -- they don't do it to keep their teeth from growing, but they do it to keep them sharp. Many, many of the bites to people are not brought out to the public. The doctors don't get them. People treat them themselves. A lot of people are bitten by mice and rats and it's not reported. So, even though there's hundreds of thousands of bites that are reported yearly, they're not all reported. But, mice do bite. Their teeth grow. So, you got to make sure you take care of these critters, because these guys can ruin your day. This is Ed with Critter Control in Tampa Bay."
