"Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you the best method for washing your windows. You can wash your windows with vinegar and water, it works excellent to clean anything in your house. I would keep a spray bottle of vinegar and water for all purpose cleaning, you know, all over your house, floors, windows, whatever. If you need to scrub don't use the really scratchy side of the sponge but have some vinegar and water handy or some glass cleaner works excellent. If you use something that does contain ammonia be careful, you know. You breathing in it's really bad for your lungs it's really bad for your health so try a green product that is non-toxic and that way you know you're not breathing in the toxic fumes. Basically you want to spray the window. The trick to cleaning a window and keeping it from having streaks. As you can see I'm just using a wash cloth for this. Most of the time people don't use wash clothes to clean their windows because they don't know the secret to cleaning windows. The secret to cleaning windows is always use the dry side of the rag. Whether you're using a newspaper, micro-fibered cloths, if you do a little bit of wiping and then flip it to a dry side, wipe some more. You know if you have a bigger rag or a bigger paper towel, if you're constantly using a dry part to wipe the cleaner that's how you prevent streaks and film from building up. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is the best way to clean glass."
