"Hello, my name is Dr. Loretta Ciraldo, board certified dermatologist, and author of "Six Weeks to Sensational Skin." In this clip we're going to talk about skincare products for men. And the first thing that I would like to advise men; after I've been in practice for thirty years, I can tell you that most men are going to be successful with skin care if they limit the number of products that they're using. So realistically, if you're a gentleman listening to this video you really want to be sure not to set yourself up for failure, so don't start on any regimen that's more than three products. First thing I'd love you to do is to think about getting a salicylic cleanser, especially two percent salicylic which is the highest concentration allowed by law to be without a prescription. This will really help to minimize the size of your pores, and cut down on surface debris on your skin. Second thing that I'd like men to do is to consider using a product which you can apply after you shave. That means that this product, which again, might be aimed at really clearing out your pores and keeping all of your surface debris should be something that's very mild like a five percent glycolic and two percent salicylic. And then men, please do think about sunscreen. That's a very important thing to put on every morning. This is Dr. Loretta Ciraldo."
