"So you may have a full disc. You want to save some storage space or make some extra storage space. So how do you compress those video files to a great extent so that you have a little more room? Well there are many programs out there to enable you to do this. Today I am going to show you how to do that with a program called Winrar. Winrar will allow you to take your files and zip them up, compress them and then you can extract them later perhaps when you want to use them. Let's take a look. What you do is you select your file in Winrar, click add, you can choose your compression method which we are going to choose the fastest just for presentation purposes and press o'kay. There you are as you can see you are compressing your file into a RAR file. Once that file has been compressed it will show you a little folder which we'll show you here. That little file when it is all said and done will look like this. It will look like a little book and that is actually a zipped file. So when you are ready to use that file, again you can actually go and uncompress that or unzip that actual file and it is ready for your use."
