"Hi I'm Ashleigh Gass, strength and conditioning specialist with BrilliantAthlete.com. How does aerobic exercise affect blood pressure? Well remember aerobic exercise is exercise such as walking or jogging that's done typically for a longer duration then say sprint training for example. And studies have shown conclusively that people who exercise regularly by walking or jogging have got lower blood pressure then those that don't exercise. So if you've been to your doctor and they've said that your blood pressure's high and you need to start to reduce it, one of the immediate tools you've got is to just go out everyday and walk for 15, 20 minutes. Whatever amount of time you're comfortable with, just make sure you get out there and do it. Other things to take into consideration when you need to lower your blood pressure is a change from processed packaged foods into more fruits, vegetables, lean meats as well. So the combination of aerobic exercise and nutrition will be all that you need to lower your blood pressure. For more information on this you can contact me at BrilliantAthlete.com. I'm Ashleigh Gass."
